And got the gorgeous Guy Martin to smile for me!

The queues around him were madness, we got to his pit early and stayed there until he appeared. I missed the lovely Leon Camier and Michael Rutter, but that pic of Guy was so worth it! I went all clumsy with the camera and Guy was laughing as he said "Aye oop Love, you got a license for that!" :D lovely Man, made a point of talking to everyone who approached him :)

    Still waiting to see him

Couldn't resist snapping his trailer, couldn't get a decent shot of Guys Hydrex Honda Bike, it was tucked away in the corner of the pit.

Standing at Hilltop during the 2nd race, I like that you get to see the riders as they break for the chicane, before hearing them accelerate off again!

Was great standing near Warwick Bridge for the noise as they accelerate through approaching bridge, not a good place for pics as you can see lol

Only cause you weren't at SOSF :p Clearly he'd have come if you had as well ;)

Disappointing :D (to borrow a catch phrase)

Lol, i'm sure he would of  :p

Watching the warm up laps was awesome! Standing at knickerbrook watching them practise their starts was brilliant! just loved the noise they made as they were roaring off up towards Clay Hill

It was a good days racing, we even Sky+'d it so we could watch it again lol.

Talk of camping next year at Oulton, the Kids aren't keen but I reckon it would be great!

    Indeed

Casey was only ever managing to pass Valentino at the end the home straight, thanks to the grunt of the Duke.
Valentino was much better in the twistier sections, and he got Casey so frustrated/riled, that he (Casey) was on the ragged edge much of the time... and it's why Casey made that (somewhat humiliating) mistake at the last corner.

But even though they were trading places every lap, it says a lot for their awesome race pace, that Casey was able to pick it up, and still retain second place

BTW: Was Valentino lucky at The Corkscrew - or what
That move could easily have ended his race... and Casey's too!!

Brilliant result for Dovi as well... trouncing many of the factory bikes, on his customer bike
And I wonder where Nicky is headed next season, eh?
