Never said you got it from eztv. That's where I saw it, and it matched word for word what you posted without attribution.

It's not a big issue, but it's worth the 30 seconds it'staken me to post in this thread ;)

love how he forgot that rubber could catch fire! lol

indeed. not sure how keen I am on the new reasonably priced car but a good show all the same.

The reasonably priced car itself doesn't bother me as much as I don't think £14.5k for a Kia Cee'd is reasonable! but a good opener to the new season all the same.

Did anyone else find tonight's episode (Ice Racing, James in the Veyron, Cameron Diaz / Tom Cruise, and the Senna tribute) to be not only Top Gear back on true form, but possibly one of the best episodes they've ever shown?

That last part was really quite emotional stuff, the celebrity laps were brilliant and James' and Richard's pieces were entertaining as well.

Kudos to them, I say. That was a damn good hour of television.

I agree with Graeme, was a cracking episode all in. Was brilliant seeing all the old school F1 stuff with Ayrton Senna again

So how did you folks find this series? I enjoyed it - definitely a jump back in the right direction - a lot of good spots of entertainment.

The feeling of it being scripted still rears it's head every now and then. It would have been properly hilarious if that Reliant Jeremy was driving tipped over unexpectedly, rather than it being carried out deliberately time after time. It's funnier when their misendeavours occur a little more naturally.

Still love all the camerawork and shots though - it's often a real feast for the eyes, especially in HD.

Another great episode, but I was shocked when they announced the end of this series at the end of the show. It's only been 6 episodes. These series normally run for 13 episodes. Maybe the 6 episode was their chance to try to redeem themselves after their woeful antics during the last series. I hope we see a full compliment of episodes when they return.

top gear has usually only run for 6 or 7 episodes in a series in the past few years.
but we get 2 series a year to make up for it :)
