I only got this album yesterday, and after three years of waiting, I'd say I'm pleased. :D

Although very short, at only 36mins, the material is fresh - and some of the songs are very catchy.

    In particular I'd recommend:

    Cigaro
    Radio/Video
    Sad Statue

    and of course, BYOB ;)

    Now I can't wait for Hypnotise :D

I got it the middle of last week and after listening to it a few times, I think it's mince.

    And so sodding short.

I agree, it's not as good as Toxicity, but since they're releasing it as an effective double album, you'd expect it to be a little worse on its own.

I've got Revenga on right now, lovin' it :D

'Steal This Album' is still my favourite SoaD album but Mezmerize is number two. I think it's better than Toxicity, not a dud song all the way through. Great album that only lacks life but i'm sure i will relisten to it when Hypnotize comes out.

I think he means like, slow. I admit Toxicity never felt particularly 'charged' to me, although there was one or two good songs on it, they were both slow ones - such as Toxicity.

I spose it's only down to opinion, but for me, Toxicity is their best album. Self-titled was good, but a bit same-y, Steal This Album was full of B-Sides (still good though), and Mezmerize needed more songs to make up time (AND it's got a B-Side on it!). :)

Yeah, Toxicity and Mezmerize are my favourites. I didn't like the self title and Steal This Album was a bit 'Meh' for my liking.
