Are the any keen squash players on here? I'm in the market for a new racket and need some advice. Amazon have some absolute bargains at the moment.

    Browning NanoTec 140

I can't seem to find much info on Browning rackets.

    Slazenger NX 140

This is what I'm leaning towards, but would like some views.

    Any help much appreciated.

I'm a squash player. Well, I try at least.

I've got a Prince TT Sovereign and really rate it. I've always had Dunlops in the past but this is a step up in class.

It's strong, generates lots of power and is not too unforgiving.

If you go to a club, try using a few of the other players racquets (or your mates) for a quick hit. That'll help you get a feel for what you like, ie head heavy, head light, balanced etc. The size of the grip can make a huge difference too, I prefer thicker grips which I build up in two or three layers.

    HTH :)

I'm not a part of a club at the moment. One of my friend's is a coach, but her racket is way out of my price range! I'll keep hunting around and see if I can test a few out in a shop perhaps.

    Thanks :)

But she'd be the ideal person to advise you about which makes/models/prices you should be looking at, based on your current level ;)

I did ask her, but she is 150% biased towards Babolat, everything else is not worth a look!

Sorry for the slow reply. My mum has just said she'll buy me a nice racket for Christmas :) I guess the limit on that wouldn't be too expensive, but within reason, suggestions welcome! I've ordered the Browning racket as a spare/temporary for £20.
