Here's my newest SFF case, i think this is the 5th or 6th case ive purchased from Kustom now! 2 instore and 4 mailorder, i need help :/
I was contemplating one of the HP Home Media Servers for around £339, but with the Zotac ION (N330) IONITX-F-E Motherboard and the case, along with a stick of ddr ram i had lying around this came to £200ish, then adding a pci-e sata card gives me port multiplier support, a feature sadly lacking in the HP home servers. The server is on the left, and a 4 bay e-sata enclosure on the right. The pics kinda suck because i took them on my iphone as my camera's batteries were dead :S
out of interest, when is "The Gallery" section going to be working again? if it isn't then should it not be removed from the forum ?
First Theres my Shuttle
and my Crysis Quad
Since this thread is rolling again, and I'm now on the SFF scene
Love your SFF Latency. So tidy. What are the temps at idle and load?
With a window over the side panel, through the roof, 60-70 degrees. It's very hard to get cold air into SFF cases, and even harder to get the cold air where you need it.
As seen in these pics, I've now removed the window so it's an open hold in the side panel... now it runs about 50-55 under load, without being too noisy...
Still a work in progress back rad is now up the otherway and inside the case with a 250w seasonic 1u power supply above just under the dvd drive
My first build , just got the case , cathodes and antec tricool yesterday
Will be done soon ( darn my low wage )
Looking forward to it though
Heres a few quick pics i took on my phone when putting the kids new PC together. Started off as a budget build using secondhand bits but got a little out of hand i think!.
heres my humble offereing
So tiny compared to my main rig ha ha
And this is the power consumption running Unigine
More than powerful for the other half. hope you like it and a BIG thanks to Kustom PC's for cutting the side panal.
Wow! That's an awesome little box!
More metal than electronics
Ha ha, yeah its a big chunk of metal in there but it seems to look fine, well in my opinion. The main thing is its cooling very well and keeps everything in working order.
My little box of rage:
i704960K @ 4.7GHz, 16GB Corsair Vengeance pro, Corsair H105 cooler, Asus Z97 Gryphon mATX mobo, Galax 970 EXOC VGA, Samsung 500GB SSD, Seasonic fanless 520W PSU and Corsair 240 Air case.
I use a ROG Gladius mouse, Steel Series 5Hv2 headset and Ducky keyboard.
