Sending reported error (0x800CCC13): Outlook 2013

    Sending reported error (0x800CCC13): 'Cannot connect to the network. Verify your network connection or modem'

    WIndows 10. Had Office 2003. Have now upgraded to Office Professional 2013. It installed without deleting Office 2003.

    Used e-mail just fine for a couple of days now I get the above error message when I try to send and there is an e-mail stuck in the outbox that I can't budge. I have installed Service Pack 1. The test e-mail actually works in the account properties but I can't send any e-mails now at all.

    This error and problem is supposed to be quite common but the only fixes relate to Exchange Server 2010 using IMAP but I only use pop3.

    Anyone been through this and found a solution?
