I've tried IKEA and all the other big stores but PC desks seem to be made for a small pc, or a system with no peripherals or its just badly designed, There must be desks out there that take all the bits comfortably and ergonomically and designed by a pc user for a pc user.
    anyone know any?

Argos do a cracking office desk (very well made, unusually) for about £70

    Here

I use one and its fantastic, lots of open space to pile all my rubbish.

If you need one, they also do a matching filing cabinet / drawers thing that will match the height exactly, making it longer. :)

I build my own! Not the prettiest but very functional. If your good with wood it's not that hard. Kitchen cabinets and countertops from Lowes and Home Depot work very well in making your own. Keeps the price down if you go for the unfinished ones and stain them yourself.

    Just a thought

Got the exact same desk with the filing cabinet, it's fantastic and gives loads of space. Definitely recommend this!

thanks all, they're not quite what I was after, as I've already got a standard desk with drawers, really looking for something thats deigned for a pc user but not one of those silly ones 2 feet wide and 12 feet tall

I picked my two up from the local Office World.

I can't remember the range/name, but my main one is big enough for me t' have 2x 22" CRT's, one o' my PC 70's, and a printer/printer station on it.

The main one cost me around £240 a few years back... but it was/is worth it IMO ;)

I bought a HUGE desk in Staples, £121 as it was reduced + 20% off, got a few bargains in there
