As the motherboards vrm chips are getting seriously hot on my m5a99fx pro rev 2.0 motherboard i need a cooling solution badly, i already have a 120mm fan mounted on the back of the motherboard blowing behind the cpu socket, however need a vrm plate, one of these if possible, any idea where i can buy one?

To be clear are you talking about the plate in the middle with 3 screws or the 2 at the bottom/right side with the black screws?

Either way neither are directly related to cooling and are simply retaining brackets for their respective heatsinks on the front side of the motherboard.

personally, I agree with archaon.... wasting your time with the rear cooling! concentrate blowing fans over the exisiting cooling or get better cooling for the vrm's

Thing is this motherboard has 2 sets of vrms, front and back, the ones at the back are getting so hot its throttling the processor
