Anyone watch the live run? Won't spoil it for those waiting for the rerun, but my god was it good!!!! Most exciting race I've seen in a very long time!!!!!!

However, considering we didn't bother to go to bed because of the early start, i am truly broken!!!!

I missed watching it live, and then my VCR decided not to record it. So I had to watch the rerun of the highlights last night.

What a cracking race, bloody well done to Hamilton, but you have to feel sorry for Button and Webber, they both would have deserved a decent points paying position.

I was willing Crazy Dave Coulthard to get on the podium, best chance he'll have really.Would have been nice seeing as he was wearing a Colin McRae tribute Helmet.

Was gutted for Webber too, such a crappy way to go out, his reaction in the interview was fairly justified i think.

But Hamilton did drive like a veteren, i really hope he takes the championship, not least because i hate Alonso.

    Bring on China!!

Aye... I've been hearing about it on the news :(

For the sake of both his/McLaren's hopes, and viewers hopes of seeing a close finish in the fight for the championship title... I hope t' hell he does 'just' go back 10 places on the grid (at worst), rather than getting docked points

I'm inclined to agree that what he did was a bit dodgy though (I said as much to my son at the time), and had the potential to cause trouble further back down the field

He's perfectly entitled to do what he did of course... but the number of times he did it... and the extent to which he did it, were pretty extreme IMO?
Whether his actions deserve being docked points, or dropped down the field... particularly given how close he and Alonso are in the drivers championship... is another matter?

I am really pleased he did not get docked points or grid places. This weekend he can stick it to the Spaniard in style (fingers crossed). :D

I think the FIA realise there's only so much the fans will take before they abandon F1

    Cheers,
