    Hey All

I have an I5 HP Elite 8100 Desktop

im limited to low profile graphics cards , the system is pretty quick and happy with its general performance but want to boost gaming

currently it has a ATI Radeon HD 5570 Low profile card and it can play games such as Diablo 3 but have to drop settings

What is currently the best card i can get that don't need any extra power that would boost my gaming capability , i know im not going to get anything amazing

When i have some more cash i am going to build a new RIG but just want a bit of a stop gap :)

    Cheers Guys

First post on this site for many many years :) used to be a regular :)

    Regards

There's not much available in the lo-pro department.

AMD camp, the 6570 and 7570 are only fractionally better than what you have.

nVidia camp, the 430, 530, and 630 are again only as good as.

If your graphics card has active (fan) cooling, you could overclock it easily enough to get a little extra out of it for free, otherwise you'll need to switch to a case with a full-height card slot :(

yo can get an HD 7750 low profile which perform reasonably well and will be a damn sight faster than you have. had a standard 7750 in my lan box and it ran everthing i needed to play no problems!! (including Diablo 3 ;-)) there may be faster out there but the 7750 low profile should be around £75 ish contact sales@kustompcs.co.uk and graeme will give you a price and timescale on deivery or maybe have some other options for you!!

Another vote for a low-profile 7750. Great cards for under £100, and very well behaved power-wise and thermally.

Ah well spotted, I did a quick search on the 7750 and didn't see any lo-pros.

Should've added low profile to the search box!
