A LCD TV running Linux sounds... different :D

The more Linux the merrier :D

Though to be fair, I'm sure a lot of people would be surprised how many things run cut-down Linux kernels already! ;)

Apparently some guy installed Linux on his watch.

Actually its been done about a billion times before, if your Tosh has freeview in then the freeview software it runs will most likely be Linux. Same for most freeview boxes etc.

Although hopefully this will be more like an entertainment centre, with a hard drive and a web browser etc.

I'm assuming the TV will be more like a large size (lower power) imac principle or HP Media Extender TV. The Whole PC in a TV thing isn't new, its more to do with the overall cost as the current ones are based on fairly high end hardware.

If that was the case, it'd come bundled with Amiga OS on a bunch of FDDs. :p

Although you'd be branded a hero [by all of three people] if you managed to install Amiga OS on it! ;)

What surprised me more was seeing a crashed ATM the other day - they run Windows 2000!

Hahah! I really should have known better. :)

Un-opened? Wow. Now maybe you could extend the collection with a shiny new AmigaOS laptop? :D
