Lowering Springs

Hi

Ive recently bought a BMW 320 Convertible.

im looking for a set of lowering springs. i want the car low as possible but it going to have a large set of rims on it. i was wondering if anyone knew of a good website to get lowering springs from.

Also any general information about lowering would be appreciated.

What size rims? Where you loacted, might be easier to take it to a garage to get the work done unless you have all the kit needed at home.

Compressing springs by hand to fit them is a pain in the ****.

As long as it's not so stupiedly low that speed bumps and curbs can damages your car.

My mate lowered his e30 320I... and ripped the ally sump off the engine on a speed bump.

now from the bmw's I had, they really don't need the suspension screwing up by amateurs.. all I would do is buy the m3 suspension and fit it. it won't affect your insurance either as it is a factory bmw part....

You could always do it the cheap and nasty way - Take a hacksaw to your suspension rings and hope for the best.

What, you live your life as a cabbage after going through a corner as the springs snap under cornering pressure?

Dangerous as ****.
