Unhappy MSN nudging

I hav a friend called Clarence and he is continually being a tiresome oik to me on MSN by continually nudging me faster than somebody who has been training for the Nudge Olympics.

Well I want to know how? Why? Wherefore?

Because whenever I try to nudge continually it says "You cannot nudge that often", which leaves me very depressed.

Basically, Clarence has told me that he disabled the nudge stopper thingymajig but refused to tell me how. So how do I do it so I can nudge to my hearts content????

Please reply I need to return the nudges!!!

if you mate is annoying you quite simply block him! or.. use 6.2 which he can't nudge you with! personally i quite like the nudge.. if used with respect.

Unhappy

aw This thread was way more fun 'untidied'. Much more enjoyable

*inserts relevant comment so post isn't deleted*

I don't mind MSN nudges, it is annoying how it brings that window to the front and you can't get it away for a few seconds though

Have you tried google?

this aint really answering your question as I dont have a clue but you could always just turn the sound of for nudging so it dont bother you.

start>control panel>sounds speech and audio devices>sounds and audio devices>click the sounds tab>scroll down and find the msn header then just click on the nudge and change the sound to no sound.

I know it aint the answer to your question but just an other idea you could try!

I don't think he is asking that, I think he's wanting to beable to respond quicker to nudges. He wants to send more of them, more often.

I suggested trying the messenger plus extension,

Lucky you! It's the worst invention ever!

When some one nudges you, the whole conversation window wigles about. A nightmare in games!

Well, thats my opinion anyway.

Pfah! I won't have any lacklustre Qt app spoiling my otherwise irrepressibly gorgeous XFCE desktop! That's a bit bogus actually, as I use KMail, but I just prefer GAIM and GTK apps in general.

Last time I used MSN messenger, you couldn't turn off anything annoying. Which was why I stopped using it. As soon as an app has more control over what it's doing than I do I start shopping.
