Well first off, if your not going to be overclocking get some Pc3200 ram. Howevre if you are look for some [pc3200 and above] ((Im sure you already knew that))

Corsair XMS 1GB Pc3200 is what i would get if i were you. I was about to get the XMS Pc3700 1GB kit, but then i got the OCZ.

Also can you state a budget for the ram?

Crucial Ballastix PC3200 would be a good choice, low latency and not too expensive, 2 x 512Mb should cost around £170.00.

Here's a review for you to read

Yeap is great memory as is XMS3200XL and PQI TurboMemory Ultra 3200 which uses TCCD and BrainPower PCB! basically TCCD is whats used in PC4400 but the PCBs are very different soo it does low latency at PC3200 and like 250FSB @ 2.5-7-3-3 They respond well with not a lot of voltage

By far, the best memory available. (My opinion anyway!)
Disagreee - That memory is really designed for P4s where latencies aren't as much of an issue but with AXP (system his using) their useless! PC3200 with TCCD and brainpower PCB is the best choice.
