WG111T wireless USB adapter antenna mod

I was wondering if anyone here has done an antenna mod on the WG111T wireless USB adapter.

I have seen a post similar to this one and it was old, but that user had no progress whatsoever.

WiFi adaptors are so cheap, it's easier just to buy one with a detachable antenna.

I already have a long range adapter and feel like trashing this one, but decided to try to mod it instead of trashing it.
