The Mrs, Girlie Mod and Build

hey guys

Finally, just finally, got my mrs wanting to pc game
She has never seen the point in pc gaming. performance, graphical horsepower, upgradability has never interested her..
Before yesterday, she said things like "a game is a game, how is a pc any better".. all that kinda silly questions from someone that is clueless..

So last night, i got some old random parts out of my pc parts cupboard, and threw together anything that ran... Ended up being an AMD sempron 3000+ and 1.6ghz, 1gb ddr2 ram, 80gb seagate ide hard drive and a cheap low profile, passive cooled everyday use graphics card...
and installed a few of her games.. stuff like Theme park world, the sims etc etc..
and let her try out pc gaming (mainly the use of keyboard and mouse as apposed to our ps3 and the controller)...

After about 20mins, she turned around and said that using a keyboard and mouse feels so much nicer..
So i threw in a sapphire x1950 pro card, obviously nothing special, but its a monster compared to the cheap non gaming card it had it..
And continued to install some of my games, like COD4 etc, something that the card could perhaps handle..
And let her play them. (she likes call of duty on the ps3 anyway)...

She actually started noticing better graphics power and little things like that.. and turned around and actually asked me to build her a pc, nothing special, just something that will play her games...

So with a smile on my face, i agreed.. but she said, i am not allowed to spend loads on it, so whatever ive got, parts wise, thats half decent, we will use.. especially an old case ive got....

So onto real topic here...

Ive got this old case, been in my shed for about 2 years now..
She said she quite liked how just plain and original it is, so she wants me to mod it and use it for her build...

this is the case.

(window marking are just rough to get a feel for how the window will roughly be, will erase it and draw it neatly when it comes to it..

My son has just got up, and loves pictures, so he just had to get involved

Already marked out the windowm and cut a fan hole for my 200mm fan. (because the front has no intake fans (YET)...

She wants it baby pink, with glitter in the paint... White chassis, and purple / pink looking inside....
Im going to be cutting the window, fitting some U-edging, and perspex, keeping the fan in the side, but tinting it black, with some purple LED's...

Any other decent thoughts on what can be done..
Anything cheap / free... but will make the case look, errrm, "not so s****y looking"?!?!?!?
