/BEGIN RANT

may i start by saaying that it is very irregular for me to rant, but, im going to anyway.

i understand that this new mag is for the begginner modder wannabe, ANd i understandthat seeing as it is the first issue this month they havent done many reviews, so couldnt make high recommendations..BUT!

behold! they have made huge articles about 1 product - covering several pages and constantly repeatign themselves.

i can only describe the mag as being a load of old tosh!
not only, but also, at every given oppertunity they'v refered to overc*ockers.co.uk, and NOT KUSTOM which i beleive is highly unfair.

on my final point, they have put Epox as their #1 top of the range motherboard manufacturer, even tho they have only reviewed Epox mobo's so far, idont get me wrong, they are good boards, but to make such a hasty and unsupported judgement to recommend them as "best buy" and "must have" items, i think its a little bit rude, not to mention that its TOTALLY biased and misleading to any Noobs that have picked up this mag hoping to find all the answers.

MY recommendation: visit Kustom's forums, ask the friendly chaps on there, save your money on magazines and spend it on sw@nky LED covered hardware.

now i got that off my chest, i can sleep better : o]

i liked it, thought it was a refreshing change from your normal run of the mill pc mags, with the same reviews of the same things each month. and no pointless coverdiscs either which is good. i think if they bulk it out a bit with a few how 2s etc it will be a good mag. also kustom were metioned a good few times. in the case reviews section for one.

I thought it was good too. I must have read it through 2 or 3 times now.

We would get mentioned more if we were advertising ...

At the moment, it doesn't really suit us to advertise, as we're nicely busy as it is, and that money spent on advertising buys in a *lot* of new product .

Tried it in PC Answers , didn't really work for us...

i saw you guys plastered all over the sff feature in pc format yesterday... you seem to be getting some ok exposure without advertising.

save your £££ i say and invest in near-illegal caffeinated drinks :)
