Probably because certain individuals managed to severly lower the tone of the thread.

probably best you didn't see the comments m8.

Right now that certain people have been removed from this thread it can get back on topic sorry your thread has been so affected Jooster.

Back on topic: I seem to get on well with all my ex's I don't know how but I do :)

lmao.
Dont have many Ex's, was always into the longterm stuff rather than the 2 weeks sorta thing.

Hardly ever see them these days but we still speak when we meet.

I haven't kept in touch with any of my ex's, although one of them from uni tracked me down and we did go back out again for a while. However, it didn't work out.

It's much better to make a clean break and move on. The trouble with staying friends, is that often one of the two is hoping you will get back together at some point (normally me in my case  ).

Better to move on and get over things. At least that way, if you bump into them again in the future there is no animosity.

Cheers,
Stephen

Gordy, i wasnt aware this was going to get offensive. But cheers for cleaning up the thread, your a great chap! :D

im sure some of you saw how much of an evil beeatch she was to me, so im not even going to bother to keep in touch with her. anyway, ive definately moved on, i dont go to college anymore (piece of crap, wot a waste of a year), now working as an ICT Technician (a perk of the job is being able to buy stuff at trade prices ;) ) so i dont even speak/see her anymore.....which is nice.

Luckily the only exes i have are from primary and early secondary so it was never true love or feelings. Speak to them when i see them, which is once in a blue moon now, and there weren't many anyway.....well just the 2! Pathetic really. I dont know what i would do if me and Cyberdrac split, always said i wouldnt feel right being 'just friends' with a long term lover but now im not sure. Lets hope i never have to find out!
Seems like im one of the lucky ones, to have found possibly 'the one' on the first attempt.

*Little Gem's post makes Forthy realise there's no "being sick" smilie*

j/k of course, good for you girl.

Back on topic, I hate it when I bump in to an Ex in the street 'cos I never know what to say. Even worse when I'm with my current partner 'cos then I have to put up with the Spannish Inquisiton type: "who was she?", "what did you see in her?" etc etc

Seems like im one of the lucky ones, to have found possibly 'the one' on the first attempt.

Everyone hopes to have done that, I certainly did. You share alot of things with your first partner and they are always special and everything seems to feel less and less special with each and every partner usually. However for everyone there is that someone special out there. If you ever meet them is another thing, however heres my tips:

Night clubs are not the best place to find a long term relationship, especially when drunk, talk to the people, you will find you have nothing in common.

On-line dating is just as hit and miss as in real life and is kind of replacing blind dating BUT you get to know alot about a persons personality before meeting. A few of the forum members here have some experience on this side, they may wish to share their expeniences there.

Relationships often form in the workplace/uni ect because you get to know the people very well usually, something to be learned from that. However theres also alot of affairs occuring in the world place which is just plain wrong.

After spending time by yourself in a double bed you will find you adopt either the star fish or diagnoal position when sleeping making if difficult and crampt to accept someone back into your bed. BE WARNED. (Also as anyone with any idea will tell you, if you want a relationship to last get a bed cover than is far bigger than your size of bed to avoid conflict at night!!).

I can't believe I just wrote that.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone say that!! Women are TOTALLY different to the male of the species and think in totally different ways! I seem to be good at chatting to girls but the problem is I always end up being friends with them at which point any attempt to change the relationship would end with "I like you as a friend"

As for ex's I haven't seen most of them for years but I'm still good friends with my last altho looking back it was a pretty screwed up situation with me and her if you catch my drift. Didn't help either of us move on! If I could go back I think a clean break would've been then better thing to do altho I would be friends with her again but space was needed but there wasn't any unfortunately!

Do you actually know any girls? If so, are you suffering from a fever at the moment?

lol, women are insane, officially.

Mines having a trip at the moment cause she just met my ex (who I am still friends with) and thinks that "she is prettier than me", now she needs lots of convincing that she's not ugly...

Aaaaaaarrrrggggghhhh!

Dude ! I totally relate to that.

I seem to have quite a lot of female friends myself.

On the other end of the scale, a lot of girls I meet nowadays are into the one nighter thing...... What am I complaining about ?

hum... ex's you get some good you get some bad... i have to see my most recent ex with my ex friend all day everyday at college something along the lines of "dump saz so you and i can have casual sex"... so he did... only wasted 4+ months of my life on the guy grrr hehe...

as for talking to girls... be yourself... stick your boobs out... oh no my mistake... take care of how you portray yourself...

Y'know we need more girls on these forums there is an extreme shortage! Try to get some of your friends on here sazzy to try and readdress the balance. Graeme, try and make some girly looking cases that are all pink and frilly! There's an entire market out there to exploit! ;)

I'm a girl :D! Like Sazzy, none of my friends (apart from one and he's male) are into computers. Seems to be more of a bloke thing! In fact I didn't realise there were other girls into computers - I'm not alone then!

Being part of these forums stops me from going insane at uni.
CyberDrac got me into them and i felt that i should take an interest so that we had more in common but then found i like computers too. I wish there were more girls cos then we could talk girlie things without the guys taking the mickey!!!!
