3DMark score

Hi

I recently benchmarked my pc and got a score of 12220 (1024*768). My PC spec is 2700+ Xp (not oc), 1GB of pc3200, ati radeon 9700 pro, gigabyte motherboard. I was just wondering if this score was a little low. Do you think that removing one of the 512Mb sticks i might increase my score??? Any other ideas????

You should be clearing 14/15,000 with a 2.7 and 9700pro...
I get 15,600 with a 9800pro, nForce2 m/b and a 2.6xp.
Check all your BIOS settings, make sure you have Catalyst 3.5/6 or 7 and have updated all your Chipset/Motherboard drivers.
Check http://www.rage3d.com/ and goto their forums, particulary the "tweaking" section, for some VERY good advice.
