Hi,
Usual question .. whats the recommended quiet p4 system?
chieftec dragon tower - soundproofed sides / base
normal psu (cannot remember what watts)
abit bd7 moby
p4 2.0Ghz (standard heatsink / cooler)
512 2100 ram
abit siluro gforce4 gfx
seagate barracuda iv (quiet one!)
The 3 x main noisy things are
psu
gfx (got the large zalman heatsink not fitted anymore)
cpu fan
I had the zalman heatsink on the gfx but found it so hot to the touch and ended up sending my gfx card for a replacement (had loads of problems with the machine crashing not long after with my gfx, had all fans on with no difference hence not too keen on adding it back into the system - plz advise)
I have blue led fans in the system but only one on the front turned on cooling the HDD.
Im thinking of a zalman psu .. would i get away with a 300w ?
Basically what do you all recommend my quiet root is ..?
