Last year, I went to Snowdonia for my practise for the gold award, but I failed at it.
So earlier this year, I went with a different group to do a practise, for which we passed :)
So we go back to do the real thing in Snowdonia, again... But one of the group members drop out (at the same place I did last year  ) due to a bad ankle and the rest of us fail. She now talks about coming back next year, but I doubt she'll be able to do it.
All the while the my mate in the group I was with last year, drops out due to injuries and has to be air-lifted off a mountain :o .
Anyway he's to join us next year, which is great and also means we can now do it without the girl who dropped out this year. All the while she hobbled around the leaders, but walked fine when they were gone... She even went as far as running to catch someone up when on the way to the nearby pub just a day after her bad ankle (but still hobbled around the leaders).
I'm particularly pee'd off that I came away from Snowdon without passing again and especially at the girl for making us fail when it seems obvious (what with the running then the limp) she could have done the last day of walking. More so after it chucked it down for 2 days.
Saying that, I did have a great time before it went pear shaped and there were good views :)
Just mad
