The Z100WR, developed in association with Z Cars is fitted with twin 1200cc Kawasaki ZX12 engines each producing approximately 190bhp. Power is delivered to the 225x15" rear tyres via a bespoke transfer box. The transfer box not only combines the drive from the two engines but also provides a reverse gear.

0 to 60 mph time of 2.8 seconds and a 0 to 100 mph time of 6.3 seconds using road legal tyres

Try finding another £40,000 road-legal car that will match those figures.

On a serious note, if I won a million tonight I'd buy a BMW M5 with all the trimmings..............and a Z100WR for the weekends! :D

For me the choice would be easy:

A Porsche 911 Turbo (for when I'm on my own) and a BMW X5 3.0d Sport (for when I'm with my kids).

maclaren F1, was watching a prog with jeremy clarkson and it completly **** all over a skyline gtr, like 4 secs faster in th 1/4 mile or something. or aston martin vantage v8. slighlty more realistic car has to be BMW M5, especially after seeing it in the BMW short movie "Star".

Mclaren F1 = 600bhp
Nissan Skyline R34 GTR = 300bhp

If you mean a rotary engine then yes but it's hardly new technology, Mazda have produced cars using rotary engines before i.e. the RX7 plus there was the legendary NSU RO80 :D

I've only seen one pic of the new skyline, but cannot remember where I saw it. It did look awesome as you would expect! As for the Evos. The VI was lovely, but overtime it's slowly wearing off me! The VII was again really sexy, but a different design from the VII. The VIII is by far the nicest if you ask me! Wouldn't say no! Look at the Imprezzas too! The newest shape is slowly growing on me! Unlike the new Golf! wtf happened there! :p

the best car in the world is the one that does the job that YOU want it to do. None of those cars would be any good to me at all so wouldn;t even make it on any shortlist if could choose any car to own. With 3 kids & a wife already and a fourth nipper due in January, I would have to say that one of the 7 seater people carriers would have to be the best car in the world. The Williams Espace F1 would be the ideal car if they didn't rip the whole of the rear interior out to fit the engine in it :( :(

A skyline is available to all. Unlike most sports cars. also its a tuner car. you can get a 2nd hand skyline import for $3k then you can beef it up

i think the skyline looks more manly than the average smooth corner modern showoff cars.

I will own one , one day.......they are becoming more affordable nowadays. Just the running costs that are likely to be hyper.

Had a GSi3000 24v a few years back and it was superb. Take that and times it by x10 and what a great point to point car teh Lotus version would be. :cool:

An R34 will be my next car, have always loved Skylines. Will hopefully be importing a bodykit in over from Hong Kong for it.

Was driving down to Brighton last night, always spot a few Skylines down there. Was driving about 90mph down the M23 when I saw a silver R34 GTR driving real slow so I overtook him. 2 miles down the road, the driver decided to floor it, I was just under 100mph at the time, and he flew past me.....must have been doing 130mph+!!! All I did was sit back and admired.... :)

bah you all got a much greater chance of getting 1 than me..im only 18 and mid taking lessons...its not that that bothers me though..its the fact the insurance wont be reasonable for..well ever :p
although when im older....the newer skylines will probably suck (as most newer cars are starting to look crap they went down hill after around 2000 in most cases )..so getting an older skyline..would be cheaper... :eek: ... :D

Love that too! I heard that if you want 2 buy one, you actually go into where they make it, and watch them building your car. I like the way it starts up to, turn key... push gearstick :D :cool: luv the breaks aswell, along with the spoiler that occasionaly pops up :D

doesnt look aggressive really to me, for aggressive you need headlights that are angled downwards, the same way as in which human eyebrows angle downwards when angry in cartoons, thats where you get the aggressive feeling from . those headlights are to big and cylyndrical...

still a damn nice car though (me and puppetmaster saw one in the flesh)

I loathe Schumacher for what he did in 94. That title was Hills and he deliberatly drove into him. Having said that he is without doubt the best driver in the world. Imo almost as good as Senna. he has took Benetton to the top and then moved to Ferrari. He then helped them become the most dominant team in F1 after a lull of nearly 20 years iirc. Its just a shame there is no team able to provide a car to match Ferrari.

People seem to forget that it wasn't just Schumacher that left Benetton to join Ferrari it was the main members of the team too, people like Ross Brawn, Rory Byrne, John Barnard, etc. They were just as responsible in turning the fortunes at Ferrari as Schumacher was. It's also worth noting that at the beginning of the 1994 season the Benetton was the best car, it wasn't until half way through the Williams overtook them.

Yep the Veyron is gorgeous but as far as I know not yet classed as a production road car. As for the power consider this, the Veyron gets 1001BHP from an 8 litre 16 cylinder engine and the Koenigsegg squeezes 806 out of a 4.7l V8. From a power to weight ratio perspective there's no competition. Also the Koenigsegg has the lowest drag coefficient of any production car.

The Koenigsegg has a drag coefficient of 0.297, the Citroen C4 is 0.28. Its hardly difficult to make a car with low drag now :).

Best car in the world for me would be something like the Enzo, just destroys any other supercar and I quite like the styling (I know a lot dont ;) ). Although the F40 would always be at the back of my mind, decisions, decisions :D.
