I don't, but I have a friend who is all over it. Personally I wanted to dive straight in to more difficult languages (diving in at the deep end as usual). If you want his email address I can probably PM it to you.

I know for a fact though that he is making a Mario clone game.

This application is perfect for this kind of game. I remember doing the same but with AMOS on the AMIGA a long, long time ago. If your after gaming code then Blitz Basic is the way to go. I used this on the AMIGA and it got pretty good reviews when it came to the PC. Its also relatively cheap and comes well documented!

It comes in Blitz Basic and Blitz 3D falbours. The first is about £25, the second is about £70.

When I ordered DBPro I did take an interest in to Blitz 3D. However I did use DB Classic before hand and thought sticking with the same code maybe more benificial.

I have seen more promising work from the Blitz series but i think that's because DBPro is newer.

The one thing that does throw me, is the fact DBPro is not object orientated :)
