Ok, now looking at this phone to replace mine. It has really good reviews but I have read that the infra-red port is blocked for file transfer so how are you supposed to get photos off you phone?

Anyone got one of these, are they any good?

Data cable?

Never seen the phones in depth, but just a mad guess :)

Yeah, data cable with software supplied. You can also email photos from the phone.

Hold on - don't go for the GX10i - wait a few weeks and hold off for the GX-20. It's a much better version. The Camera on the GX-10 is crap, but the GX-20 has a better version and can be used to record vedio clips. It also has a second screen on the outside that can be used as a viewer when taking a piccy of yourself, instead of that shiney mirrored circle - very cool.

I work for Vodafone and they have been on test for a while - due out shortly.:D

Yeah but I bet you wouldn't get it for free would you! I am guessing if it is just coming out then it is going to be about £100 on contract (unless you go for the 1000 minute a month bundles!).

Anyway it isn't the GX-10 but the GX-10i which was only released recently!

Only passing on what I know - if it's helpful, great. If not, no problem.

The GX10i has upgraded software and is grey in colour. It's still the same phone. The GX20 is the upgraded version, with the new camera and features.

Sadly can't wait anyway since my Nokia 7650 went for swim!

Thanks for the info though! Had a look around and it is going to be the neck end of £200 on my tariff so think I might pass, megapixel camera in a phone though is tempting!
