After the worldwide success of 'Band of Brothers', Steven Spielberg is set to produce another TV drama about World War II.

The Hollywood Reporter says Spielberg and partners Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman are developing a 10-part series set during the battles in the Pacific Theatre.

A deal is being finalised with US cable channel HBO with the project expected to require a budget of over $100m.

It is expected that, like 'Band of Brothers', the series will follow a group of soldiers during the Pacific campaign.

OHHHHHHHHHHHHH THANK GOD FOR ANOTEHR SERIES!!!

in other rumours, the series is expected to feature minority groups involved in the war, such as 'the brits'
