I'd love to get a silent mini-itx system based on the nehemiah cpu, which is shipped with a heatsink and fan.

Both Hush Technologies and Tranquil PC use heatpipe technology and cooling fins on the case.

The zolman cooler for the EPIA cpu only works if it's socketed, which for the mini-itx boards isn't the case.

Any ideas ?

I'm going to try using a Zalman chipset heatsink - it will attach through the pins on the board, and has better heat transfer than the HS included with the board.

I'm still going to use a fan, but as I'm using the cubid case, which is a pretty tight squeeze, I will be mounting it to the roof as a in-flow, and slowing it right down, so it should be a lot quieter.

Anyone know the safe temps for an epia system?
