This is the best tv show that ever lived!
Its absolutely the only programme that makes me laugh all the way through. Anyone remember the Rimmer Song they had?
i laffed so hard when i watched that! :D :D
"He will never need a zimmer!"
:D :D :D :D :D
Red Dwarf is pure genious! There are sooo many class lines from all the series! Well I-VI maybe, I went off it a bit with VII and VIII, it just lacked something. I also hated it when they remastered the original series but I'm not sure why! Other than that I loved it through my childhood :)

Red Dwarf is great. I hope they do resolve the Rimmer situation left open in the last episode of VIII in the movie :)

Don't give me the Star-Trek crap, it's too early in the morning
I once had an entire set of Worms speach lifted from various Red Dwarf soundbites... was nice and cool- if it wasn't deleted by a damn virus along with everything else!!
I'm so excited all six of my nipples are tingling

It was never the same without Norman Lovett as Holly!
Big A
Damn right, i hated the fact that he wasn't in the middle series. I think some of the jokes could of been a hell of a lot funnier. But just to show my appreciation towards the Red Dwarf crew, i'm buying all the dvd's and have all the tapes... Bring on the Movies and loads more series!!!
Hey did you know Danny John-Jules (Cat) is in lock, stock and two smoking barrels :o i only just noticed that yesterday.
"We ran out of milks yonks ago, fresh and dehydrated"
"What we on now hol?..."
"Emergency backup supply... we're on the dogs milk"

DJJ is also in Blade II aswell :)
He's arnold, arnold, arnold rimmer,
More reliable than a garden strimmer,
He's never been mistake for Yuell Brinner,*
He's not bald and his head doesn't glimmer...
Master of the wit and red party,**
His command of space directives is uncanny,
How come he's such a genious don't ask me...
Cause arnold, arnold arnold rimmer,
He's oh so brave and a fantastic swimmer,
And if you just play your cards right,
Then he just might come around for dinner!
*Dunno the name, can't hear it too well
**Also can't hear this line too well

few of the best lines from series VIII =
"I hope we don't get stopped by the cops..... They don't like it when your rat-ar$ed" - Holly
"People of honour generally don't take a Polaroid of your snoozing todger, draw a moustache, mouth and ears on it, and then pin it up on the notice-board under 'Missing Persons'." - Rimmer
"All of the canaries will be dead in one hour, except for Rimmer...... Who will be dead in 20 minutes" - Cassandra
I hope they do resolve the Rimmer situation left open in the last episode of VIII in the movie
Ahh the movie....i cant wait.....and they're gonna have to do something about Rimmer....they cant just leave him on a burning ship!

Well I think this needs to be posted:
http://www.tullephant.net/directory/reddwarfsigned_s.jpg (http://www.tullephant.net/directory/reddwarfsigned.jpg)
Got them signed at the HMV signing in February. I didn't even buy them at HMV :D
By the way thats Craig Charles, Chris Barrie and Danny John-Jules.
i loved red-dwarf. i used to either tape it or sneak off from the youth club early to watch it when it was on friday nights (first time round)
its unusual because i hate almost anything sci-fi (i loathe star-trek with a passion) except perhaps star wars but RD works because you have a real representation of all bad human characteristics (lister=slob, rimmer=anal retentive git, cat=vain self-absorbed, kryten=doormat) and focusing on negative human characteristics is normally the best source of humour...
none of this righteous crap you get in star trek and none of the damn oh no the gammatronic pulse inducer has fused with the pylargian nipple inductor and caused a phase shift meaning we found another planet full of people who will hate us and then love us in the end go to warp factor 3.6.
still havent seen all the latest episodes of RD (last 2/3 series) and it sucks because they spread the storyline over whole series instead of the usual one-show storylines. so if you do happen to catch it on uk gold it seems to be the exact episodes you have seen. and apart from the classic episodes i have to leave it for a long time before i watch it again. (legion now ****es me off as i have seen it so much).
but i'm ranting now...
in summary red dwarf = thumbs up... :D

I absolutely love Red Dwarf, My husband got Series II on dvd for my birthday:D can't w8 for the rest to be released on dvd
Red Dwarf is just class :D. The last series there was better than the 2 previous ones but I just wish they would hurry up and make the film.
Some of the best episodes imo:
The one that involved the Polymorph (its the hat :D).
Back to Reality: had the despair squid in it which made them all think they were playing a computer game for the past few years, that was great but it was even better with the addition Dwayne Dibbley ;) :D :D.
Red Dwarf is fantastic :)
Still so fresh as well.
man i love rd hows about these two
go to red alert
are you sure sir that does mean changing the bulb
and
forget red alert lets go all the way up to brown alert
we dont have a brown alert
WE DO NOW
Started watching Red Dwarf when series 3 started then havent looked back (apart from last series that where abit crap compaired to the others)
Fav Eps.
Legion -
Rimmer (to legion): This is an exqiusite piece of art what do you call it ?
Legion: A light balb
Rimmer: Can i buy it ?
Legion: No i wont be able to turn on the lights ! ! ! :D
Gunmen of the Apocalypse - This is a job for the Riveria Kid - du-du-du-dun
Back to Reality: Voter Colonel :p
and anyone who has seen the Backwards episode comedy sketch forward is really good :)
And for the time it was made Future Echoes was a stunning episode for series one
Hope the Film is more like series 1-6

Mr. Flibble says, game over boys !
Red Dwarf is an absolute classic. Series 1 - 6 were the best. Series 7 lost the plot a bit, thats when I stopped watching. Didn't bother to watch series 8. Have I missed anything good ?
I too hope the film is like the classic first 6 series. BTW anybody got a release date yet ?
Someone said on the first page of this thread about Danny John Jules being in Lock Stock and Blade II, he was also in some prison movie with James Nesbitt, was a crap film, prob why I cant remember the name.
But yeah I love Red Dwarf, the only tv series that I actually BOUGHT on DVD, lol!!
Its a shame that none of them have really done anything else with there lives, and no Robot Wars is pure crap, so please no one mention that.
Cheers

The way it's going the DVD of the movie will be out after VIII, which'll be handy :D
yeah, hope they put the movie in DVD packaging a'la Series I-VIII though!
Are they making anymore series' after the movie?
/me lives in hope.
I was thinking maybe they could kill off everyone but Rimmer, Cat and Lister? :D

Dont be silly....then we wouldnt be able to stare drooling at Kochanski!
I think series VII and VIII suffered because somewhere in the upper echelons of the BBC a decision was made that Red Dwarf would get some proper funding and it would be turned into a proper mass market show.
They did of course completely fail to understand the concept of Red Dwarf and the result was somewhat predictable. The only cure for this is to simply sack the upper echelons of the BBC and employ a fresh group who understand that a winning formula shouldn't be changed just because the Sun readers don't really get it.
yeah, RD should have stayed the underfunded cult TV show the previous series made it famous for!
TBH, all of the Red Dwarf fans out ther could happily run the show with amazing results
Well RD Fans, the Series III DVD is nearly upon us *W00T!*
All is looking cool, and in February comes the release of Series IV!
Damn Good! :D
