This (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/product.php?view=3807&PHPSESSID=632f8305630420c97e78a216153f11a5) would do it :)

Have you tried using IBM's HD utilities to change the acoustics mode on the hd to quite?

I've found that reduces the seek noise (the click bits)

along with performance - but not the whine

I've got mine in a silentdrive - works fine.

my HD temps are 37-40C in my silentdrive

that is the temps from SMART so I'm not sure how accurate they are.

I fasten to add, my PC is not silent, I sort of gave up trying to make it so halfway through. so there is an allright amoutn of airflow about the case , which maybe helps the drive temps.

in my other case , I've got 120Gb Barracudas in aluminium silent drive cases (called Smart Drive 2002) and these run much hotter. I think it must be due to the case being smaller and more cramped, and the lack of airflow.

Just stick a load of delta fans in your case. No more whining HDD.
