Next Frontpage to output clean and valid HTML?

I still hate Frontpage personally, but since so many people use it, it will be great to have more nicely-written pages :)

I hate Frontpage too, but the point is, that so many people use it, the web should have more w3-compliant websites :D

I use a combination of Topstyle and Notepad.

It's not just the frontpage coding thats bad, it's the usability thats rubbish too.

I'm a dreamweaver fan, editing in plaintext in DW too so can easily get the pretty colours without too many apps open....

Can't understand why they removed colour code printing in DW MX though, that was handy!

Anyone tried 1stPage 2000?
I think it's pretty good, considering it's completely free... and I'm currently using it to design my own site.
(The only problem I have now is finding the time to finish it! lol)

I think you can still download it from here:

A few people I know requested information from me about the next Frontpage -- so I'll be writing a preview article about it as well as Outlook 2003 and a few other office 2003 components.
