View Full Version : My Chieftecs givin' me the good vibrations..

Finally got my Chieftec case running with 5 Coolermaster (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/product.php?view=2507&PHPSESSID=569381f5372580a2c0845015104c7bb2) fans in. Out side the case they hum gently, but when inside their REALLY loud. I've put this down to vibrtions because when I push the case sides in a little to sound dampens slighty. Also, if I press the middle of the fans in the same thing happens.

So, basically, anyone got any ideas on how to stop the washing-machine sound?

they worked for me by stopping the metal screws from touching the metal case

The fans on checieftecs dont screw in tho :( They go in fan holder things that clip onto the case.
