Whats the best way to silence a hard drive?

I have the rubber band type of hard drive cage thing for my Seagate 7200rpm hd and was wondering i kind of need the 5.25 bay now and was wondering if there were any other methods I can use to keep it quiet but not have it in the 5.25 bay?
