these BMW films are a really good idea.
i would say Bullet is the best car chase movie ever, with The French Connection coming a close second

I can't remeber the French connection ones! ;)
Bullet was one of the first Movie Chase scenes and the best :)
I liked the chase scenes in Ronin too!

Definately the end chase in TAXI...so what if its french with subtitles that 3 litre v6 406 really rocks.
I thought some of the scenes in the transporter were good, very TAXI'ish but still good.
Got all the BMW movies a while ago and thought the one with Madonna in it was comedy.
Id never heard of these BMW films before this thread. Downloaded em all last night & their pretty good. Love the one called "Beat The Devil", near p'd myself at the end it was so funny
w00ts for taxi, absolutly cracing film....lol id puke if i had a ride like that.

If anyone gets a chance, watch the original 1970's version of "Gone in 60 Seconds". No that's a car chase. Put's Bullitt in a very dim light. Brilliant stuff.
1967 Ford Mustang, yellow in colour. Writes off about 200 Police cars, does some spectacular crashes and *still* goes.

No-one mentioned the chase in "The Rock"!
Sean Connery in a yellow Ferrari being chased by Nic Cage in a HumVee around San Francisco!!
Ok, so not a classic. But puts a big grin on yer face!
BA
What he did to that ferrari brought tears to my eyes:(

Those Hum-vee's look cool but are a hog to drive!!
I seen the latest consumer version of the Hum-Vee on BBC2 a few weeks ago!! it's got an fuel Economy indicator on the dashboard and at it's peek efficency it was getting "1mile per gallon i'm not joking!! the thing needs refuleling every 60-70 or so miles!!! i'm here complaining when i only get 200 miles to the tank on my wee car. I can't imaging the running costs of one of them here!!

One likely to go into film history is the "mini" chase in the Bourne Identity. Amazing.

for the BMW ones its 'Star' is very funny.
I got transporter and the car chase is good.
But it the italian job, that has the best car chase
my vote for italian job aswell it would have been even better if they had included the icerink in the final cut of the film though.

That is definetly my favourtie at the moment aswell :). Although it really does show up the remake :D.
The chase in the original is good because its one of those never ending chases :). If your lucky you might be able to catch it on Sky, they seem to show it every now and again on the movie channels.
