I wanted something that was resnobally scary but still a good story and a plot, and in this case some good graphics..
After reading the back of the box in the video store, 'a maximum secuirety prison, with a giant snake on the loose' sounded like my sort of thing on a otherwise quiet saturday night.
So i removed 'Boa' from the shelf and payed my £3.50, and headed home.
Ok i was on a mission to get drunk but i was still able the see the film through.
It starts off vagually ok, and after the first attack it starts to show some promise, however when the outside team are called in to try and fight the creature things start going down hill... Fast.
You soon get the feeling that the lease on wherever the film was shot was running out and they were in a rush to try and finish the film.
I've seen other films with snakes, 'annaconda' and 'king cobra' and those 2 are far better as far as the plot goes and even have some thought out story.
Well boa is a film that i'll not bother seeing again, for next i plan to watch some film about giant reptiles beginning in 'K'.

marks out of 10 for plot = 0
marks out of 10 for cast = 2
marks out of 10 for ending soundtrack = -1000 (its ripped ailen soundtrack)
Cheap and nasty sequal to be made?? well lets just say it leaves us in the way a sequal was planned.

perhaps.. but your speaking to the person who bought 'crocodile' then for some bizar reason bought 'crocodile 2' which was scratched to buggery but still couldnt justify spending £4 on a train ticket so i could return the £5 film fron hmv.
