So here's part 2 for the greatest movie ever. Firstly, most of you will vote for the movie you voted for the first time.

I therefore suggest that everyone has 3 votes. 1st will get 3 points, 2nd will get 2, 3rd will get 1. Votes will be calculated in a couple of weeks. Anyone can vote, even if ya didn't first time. Votes can be changed up till the end date, just edit the post, which i'll post here closer to the date . As before please post in bold in similar fashion to my reply post.

The list to choose from is thus:
2001: A Space Odyssey
Back To The Future Part II
Clerks
Fifth Element
Forest Gump
Frank Herbert's Dune
Goodfellas
Highlander
Jurassic Park
Lord of the Rings: Two Towers
Mallrats
Saving Private Ryan
Shrek
Spiderman
Star Wars: A New Hope
The Matrix

I'm liking this list lots :) Some quality movies there :)

it has to be from the list right....sounds like a movie quote

one-forrest gump(has it all)

two-goodfellas great but there is better gangster movies although slower and not the godfather series)

three-matrix

in that order , if they werent had to be chosen from the list i would have only chosen gumpo.

i am quite suprised that some others never even got a mention ,

leon for one or any other luc besson other than his worst 5th element.

Aliens series.

Batman 1-2 or just about any burton movie cept attack.

but on a whole im chuffed we opted to stay away from cheesy yank movies (cept for bttf series reeks how did that get there) that rewrote history , like titanic braveheart u571 enigma et al.

hey hey hey! BTTF is fantastic! I've loved that series since I was like 8 or something. It depends what theory of time you use ;)

Time to wrap up this and award the greatest movie ever award :)

1st The Matrix 23
2nd Lord of the Rings: Two Towers 9
3rd Clerks 7
4th Forest Gump 6
= Spiderman 6
6th Frank Herbert's Dune 5
7th Back To The Future Part II 4
8th 2001: A Space Odyssey 3
= Jurassic Park 3
= Mallrats 3
= Saving Private Ryan 3
12th Fifth Element 2
= Goodfellas 2
14th Shrek 1
15th Highlander 0
= Star Wars: A New Hope 0

So the clear winner in first is the well deserving film, The Matrix. :D

I'm a bit surprised both Highlander and A New Hope got no points, especially as someone had voted for them initially
