I'd say Zalman or Quiet PC 300W. For sure

There's a new fanless PSU by a german company that Kustom may be getting soon. Either Thomas or Graeme posted a thread about it. Can't beat total silence:D

I had the Quiet PC PSU and now have the Zalman (both were 300w). I think the Zalman is slightly quieter. For sure they are the quietest PSUs on the market - apart from Conan's suggestion which is going to cost the guts of £200:eek:

fanless PSUs will be 150ish - a bit cheaper than Alan's estimate, but still pretty expensive. Zalman's are the quietest fan cooled PSUs we've come across so far.

you got any serious plans to get those in or just looking it to it?

Also do you see them as a viable psu?

They should be reliable and viable. It all depends on ambient room temperature.

WOW! That thing looks fantastic! I'm on my way to PC bliss and already have an Antec TruePower thingy. ProSilence looks a bit too expensive though...

I saw the power supply on the silentmaxx, look fairly easy to copy the idea - having a go to mod an old supply that i have. Will post more if sucessfull
