You know who i mean - the little 12 year olds that spend every waking hour BMXing, skateboarding and rollerblading. Well here's a message to them all:
GET OUT OF THE GODDAMN ROAD!!!
I have had it with these arrogant little kids who prance around on their boards etc in the road and don't even attempt to get out of the way when you drive up - they just stand there and expect you to drive on the wrong side of the road to go round them.
There's a group of kids near where I work that have taken to putting a long bit of scaffolding on a load of bricks and slide along it, right in the middle of one of the lanes.
Or should I say 'attempting' to slide along it, because none of them are very good, so they keep falling in the road, which is really safe
Plus they are there till it's too dark to drive without at least sidelights on, wearing the regulation all black clothing, and I've lost count of the number of times I've almost hit the little b*ggers cos they have shot across the road and I couldn't see them....
And to top it all off, they could jump on a bus for 10 minutes and goto a local park where the council have built a skate ramp and rails etc...
But they would rather annoy the hell out of legitimate road users, and risk their own lives. Well I guess that's more 'Extreme' isn't it.

I agree but think the rant should be extended to all irresponsible kids on bikes. When not at uni I live in East Anglia which needless to say has very few road lights anywhere yet still on a unlighted single lane each way road where people drive at about 50mph you see these stupid kids cyling at night with no lights on! I don't know if they have a death wish or what.

Also half of them cannot/do not even cycle in a straight line even during the day! They are a menace and should be banned on roads until they are at least 15 or be forced to take some sort of test.

I cant stand people who ride bikes on the pavement, expecting people walking to get out of their way.

Why i oughtta...

Especially when people ride on the pavement or road despite the fact that the government has built them a nice big bike lane at the taxpayers' expense!

Report them for cycling on the pavement. If there isn't a cycle lane and they don't have stabilisers, they can get fined £25 on the spot. If only the police/wardens would stop eating their Maccie D's long enough to enforce the rule!

I cycle to work every day and even I have to negotiate around the arrogant gits with their skateboards who cant be bothered shifting off a public highway :(

I just speed up when I get near them and go straight at them - they usually move pretty sharpish. :D

Even faster if there's nearly one and a half tonnes of metal coming towards em ;)
