Hi all, can anyone suggest a good book for learning ASP? I've done loads of C++, Java etc so I don't want anything that is really basic. It would be good if it covered accessing SQL Server databases too.
Thanks,
John
might be better to use online tutorials for ASP i would have thought.
Ive just completed a project using ASP for computing at college, i learnt everything for it from these sites:
http://www.webthang.co.uk/default.asp
http://www.w3schools.com/asp/
http://www.aspin.com

add 4guysfromrolla (http://www.4guysfromrolla.com/) to that list, although it has gone a bit more asp.net recently.
In fact since you've got c and java experience, you might find asp.net a bit easier.
Are you looking specifically for books covering SQL server, or books covering general database design??
Have you any VB/VBScript experience??
Dare I say it:), but with C and JAVA experience, PHP might be more suited.
cheers

Thanks for the suggestions.
I'm looking into customising an existing package so the ASP SQL Server bit is set in stone.
Cheers,
John
