kilwinning drivers

travelling along the irvine bypass to the roundabout for stevenston/kilwinning ...theres only 1 kinda driver that ****es me off ..u fowks all know which 1s.....its the A__holes that sit on the outside lane at 50mph or less ...just after the volvo roundabout thinking they have the right of way cos their going to kilwinning even tho the inside lane is empty ....IT may be wrong to overtake on the inside BUT these B'stards leave u no choice

are you not meant to be going fast on the inside lane!!?? The outside lane is the slow one!

Nope, any lane on a bypass or motorway has the same speed limit (expect at roadworks and some odd junctions). Its a comon misconception that the inside lane is the slow lane and the outside the fast one (just like middle lane hoggers, move to the left when its clear :mad: ).

Theres one way to make sure you dont get catch drivers like that on that road (I know I use it often enough), overtake them all before the railway line and you got a clear run to the roundabout :).

Just gotta undertake them like Peter says. TBH I don't even think about it any more. I spend that much time on the M6 between Lancs and Brum and see all the traffic nose to tail in the outside lane, just sail down the inside.
