Help with Opera

I hoping to find some Opera users out there who can help.

Due to a failed hard drive (waiting replacement from Maxtor), I've kidnapped the kids PC. I've installed what I need but after installing Opera I can't get it looking how I like.

What I'm trying to do is set it up to use multiple pages but can't find where. I know I have to change from multiple document interface (MDI) to single document interface (SDI) but can't find where I make this change.

Can anyone enlighten me:confused:

is it not in there?

Not that I can find Abe, unless I'm being ultra dumb or blind (not totally unheard of):)

Should be File>Preferences>Windows>

clear "Open Windows in Opera Workspace" in Opera 6

check "Open pages in new window" in Opera 7

Tried that already with no result. That gives me multiple windows, what I'm looking for is multiple pages (with tabs on the top). I need to know how to change to SDI from MDI.

Reverse those settings then.

Which version of Opera are you using?

I've tried reversing the settings, no joy there. Was using v6.05 but now downloading v7.0. I've just been looking on an Opera forum and it says there that the mode (SDI/MDI) is determined on installation. I'll re-post in 15 mins and let you know how I've gone on.

Just downloaded and installed v7.0, didn't do anything that I know of but it's come out how I wanted it to. Multiple pages, within the same window.
