I am really loking forward to this film coming out!! It is a re-make of a japanese horror flick that was really creepy.
It's not out 'til the end of february but it's well worth keeping an out for, you'll prob start to see the tv advertising as i noticed it for the first time last night.

I've seen the Japanese movie Ring, and Ring 2.
I think there's another one called Ring Zero, but I haven't seen that...
I didn't think they were all that scary though, they looked cool though ;)

lol, let me ask when didnt the daft yanks murder a good foreign film and re release it???
nikita anyone?
now the ring :(
if u want to watch it, see the Japanese version stay well clear of the american remake its rubbish in comparison
Good point, Nikita was a cracking french film with great performances allround, but the US remake with Bridget fonda called "the assasin" was seriously pants.

The Remake isent that bad its worth a watch.
Just to say, i've read a bit about the remake, and i've seen the original, and i'm looking forward to the remake. I'm guessing it won't be as good as the original, as most remakes never usually are better than the original unless they are a remake of a pretty awful movie. According to one of the many magazine articles i've read about The Ring remake, it is seemingly a good movie, a good remake and a kick up the **** to the horror genre. Which in my opinion makes it worth going to see, but my opinion isn't worth a lot these days.
