Hmmmmmnnnn... seems like I'm not the only one who thinks the Xsara is in wi' a shout this season ;)

I've always liked both the car and Sebastian Loeb (a future World Champion IMHO), and now that Colin's joined em, my hopes are more likely to be fulfilled, so I couldn't/wouldn't vote fer anybody else :D

subaru will take it, the new car is a strong performer. The only reason they lost the monty is because grondholm crashed and he hates the monty anyway. I think he was 1.30 mins ahead until he crashed.

citroen or peugeot are good they will take 2nd, hard to split them as they are identical cars really. solberg always drives well as does mcrae, but gilles panizzi will take the corsican rally (well any tarmac rally)

Man its a real shame mitsubishi aint in this year, they have the coolest car of the lot.

I just wish Lancia were still around, they made the most gorgeous cars, especially with the traditional martini colours. that Delta S4 was just a roodboy car if ever i seen one.

BTW, anyone got rallisport challenge for the PC? i recommend it all the wicked group B cars are in there and they are wild in every sense of the word. The graphics in that game are the best ive seen on PC, If anyone wants an online game we could fix it up over the board s here, i'd love to try a driving game online :):D

Subaru lost because Gronholm crashed?

He drives a Pug 206, and he was only about 20 seconds ahead of Loeb who was catching him on nearly every stage.
Loeb is a great tarmac driver and the citroen suits him for that so he should do well this year. I hope McRea wins though, he finaly has a car that can keep up on tarmac with the pugs and McRea's talent on gravel will give him some wins there too. It's a three was race this year with the two citroens and Gronholm, Burns just doesn't have what it takes when the pressure is on.

gilles panizzi in the 206 is the best on tarmac, he would win the championship if he could win on gravel!! anyway, my vote goes for the pug.

edit: ooops poll is closed :D

I want to see Citroen win, but I probably don't have reason to justify it other than that I've got a Xsara :)

well, McRae is 'local' so that's another reason I guess

Thought I'd resurrect this thread as it hasn't had a post in 2 months but still manages to be only 2 mouse-scrolls off the bottom of the page on my 15" monitor.

Just noticed that nobody voted for Peugeot, who now look like the favourites to win it.

PS - I accidentally set the poll to close after about 10 days and I apologise, as this was my first poll on the forum and I didn't know how to work it properly to make it stay open.
