I hate these, they get stuck everywhere and look awful...

I've had them put on the window of my car twice in the past month, and it's a hardly a little leaflet, they're about a2 size so you can't drive until it's removed ! Where do most of these end up then? All over the street...

I wouldn't normally moan about things like that so much , but this morning I couldn't believe my eyes to see four posters on the inside of the door for our shop?? During the night, the poster spreading types had taped 4 posters together, opened the air vents above the door, lowered the posters through the vent and then taped the top one to the vent so that the four posters hung in the door .. I don't know why they bothered, because they were all ripped down straight away, but the arrogance of people thinking that anyone actually gives a crap about their event really bugs me.

Ahhh, that's better. I quite like this rant forum ;)

invoice whoever the ads are for for advertising or something like that, or removal expenses because of "particularly sticky sticky tape"

i dunno, suggestions anyone?

park outside the shop at night and hide in your car with a paintball gun, when the posters come around let em have it. :D

i must say, i think my suggestion wins on being legal and all that........

no point being the one in the right, if you end up being prosecuted

Just send them a bill for the advertising costs.

When I was at university in Leeds, I often saw little noticed on the side of buildings (like banks etc), which said things along the lines of “Any advertising without the permission of the owner is banned and will be enforced with legal action”. It must have worked, and I assume it must have been enforced to have worked, as these buildings were always spotless! :D
