Black Ops theme night will run on Friday 26th November with some good long sessions in the new Call of Duty game. A variety of matches (submit your requests below!) and ending with some co-operative zombie killing.

A few have asked for a Black Ops night and it makes most sense to do it while the game is fairly fresh and new.

I realise it's not everyone's taste, but there's enough demand to justify a theme night.

Racing one will be pushed back a bit, I think next is likely to be a Tron event in December to coincide with the film launch.

Well, I haven't really played enough to have any proper preferences, but there's a gungame mode (named, of course, gun game) which I reckon should be put in.

I kinda like nuke town tbh lol but oh well. RIGHT!!! S&D on hanoi is fantastic, the villa map is impressive on most modes, jungle is good on most modes as well, and tbh if we do tdm at all it should be on a large map like crisis or one of the snow maps which name has escaped my memory. I have found the spawn system PURE BAWZ on tdm so imo we should keep to strong objective modes.

I'll keep my preferences to that atm and see what other peoples ideas are.

Going to hold this one downstairs in the shop / office. It's quite cold upstairs just now and not really got enough heaters to keep everyone warm, but with just 10 of us we can get 3 in the office and 6 in the shop easily.

I dunno, my overclocked Q6600 used to check out quite a bit of heat. Add in a stressed gfx card and I think you lot would be toasty in no time :)

Frankly, I'm all for having the LAN downstairs. I don't really want a repeat of the LAN we had in February where we were all chittering until lunchtime.

There's no one here called Frankly.

Still in two minds as what to do with upstairs in the longer term. Challenging thing for LANs is that it's too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter.

Spring and Autumn are just great :)

There's still an open possibility that next year the current shop area will be expanded to be all downstairs, and upstairs is stock storage only. So I'm hesitant to invest what little spare money I have in heating and air conditioning kit that would only get used for a short term.

Thanks for another great night Graeme, already looking forward to the next one!:) Liked the downstairs setting, the random floor plan was more social when we are huddled together facing all directions rather than all of us just facing a wall, well apart from you three in the office that is!:)
