Don't leave it on a seat where people might sit on it then. Surely common sense whould have dictated that :D

Large but cheaks - good job it was't an 8210. You'd need a plunger and some rubber gloves to get it out. Probably some lube too...

Aye, well, it was in my coat pocket, and whilst out bowling with my friends, the coats got flung everywhere and naturally something bad happened!

I dropped my fone the day I got it :( some lovely big scratches on it and the flip down front is nice and wobbly.

ditto. I scratched the screen on my colour Sagem a few days after I got it, and it upset me no end...

A friend of mine bought a Nokia 6210 off someone, she then cracked the screen. Using the power of Ebay I managed to get her another screen for £20 and fit it for her. She then cracked that one...

She now owns a nice rugged Nokia 5210.

By the way, she works at a place called Print-In (I'm not too sure how far they have spead) but its a stationary shop and they do photocopies, how did she break it??? lol :D

Also they shouldn't make mobiles so bouncey when I dropped mine it got an extra couple of scratches because the bugger bouced the flip closed and then smacked down to the ground again

I have an 8310, left it lying on the bed and it fell off and the screen hit against a plastic video case. Theres now 3 deep but not too noticable scratches in the cover, so I'm on the look out for a nice new cover (the ones I keep finding are crap)

Nah, none of the above is annoying.

Testing out every single fecking ring tone with your mate on the top deck of my bus or on the station platform I am waiting for my train on is annoying!!

And cos' it's London and there's 2-3 of you, I'm too scared to tell you to shut the feck up in case you shoot me in the head and then gouge my eyes out with a blunt stick.

That's annoying.

:(

I did that once, they were like 11 or something, so I went up to them and took the mobile off them telling them they could have it back once they were at their stop.

Wasnt going to resort to violence and people that know me wouldnt think I would do such a thing, but half an hour of "grande valse" and "Mission impossible" on a frigging mobile phone would drive me to insanity. :(

I got an 8210. One of the most pathetically made pieces of trash i have ever seen. I've had the screen replaced 2 times, because lines keep appearing over it. The speaker has also been replaced. Ther are now lines on my 3rd screen, but i've given up on it. Ill just save up for a new one :D

Nice, i'll keep a look out for them as long as they fit fine (think the phones are the same size and the keypad layout is the same)

They are the same phone Abe with the exception that the 6510 has the high resolution Blue screen, where as the 8310 has the standard Resolution White. Oh & the 6510 doesn't have a ringtone composer utility (which caneasily be gotten round by using Logomanager & the IRDA port on a laptop :) )

thanks for that, i'll keep looking for them then

3210's are made of some miracle material. My dad had his for a year and a bit, he's a plumber type person and his get chucked everywhere. Then I got it before my T68i, and it still works just upstairs in a drawer...:)

I looked at the covers today, but nobody actually stocked them :(.

Anyway the cost is astronomical - £20 for a cover when the phone cost me less than that :(

Got all 3 here and the 5210 is identical to the 8210 when the covers are removed, bar the bright orange screen on the 5210.

Yes the 6510 does have the electronic wallet (which TBH I have never used nor ever will & probably most people here probably won't use it either hence why I never mentioned it).

Abe, try your local Vodaphone store, as they tend to stock the 6510 covers.

Tell me about it. My old 7110 has outlived two replacements. Got a 8210 to replace the 7110, the 8210 died first time I dropped it. Then got a 6210, and it was just a total pile of junk, sound quality was poor at best.

Back to my ol' 7110 again. It's slow, the flipper doesn't catch unless you slap it closed, and the antenna is all wonky, but it's still impossible to beat.

I'm still looking for a new 7110 off EBay to replace this one.

I've got a boxed Sony Ericson R250s Pro, amongst others, its nicknamed the roughneck and is tough enough to be dropped in a puddle play a quick game of football with it and then wash it off under the tap. I think it was designed for workmen, outdoors types and clumsy sods (not used it yet:D ). Its one tough bugger.

Why does everyone feel the need to spend a hundred million quid every time a new phone comes out with a new version of Snake or the latest Westlife ringtone?

attachment removed - you can not get round the swear filter by putting in an attachment. It was very amusing, but please remember we have a young audience too ;)

Because people like toys. Ive got 3 phones (A300, 8850, 7650), the last two were bought at 1 year intervals, for no reason other than the fact I wanted something to play with. I think its the same as my girfriend going out and buying another pair of shoes, despite already owning 30 pairs.

Incidentally, I think the 7650 is great, the messaging system is so pc-like, and you can get doom for it!

Schvetty
29-01-2003, 13:59
yeah i got doom for mine

i got gameboy emulator as well its it good also PJ has a 7650 as well

o its brill the nokia 7650 comunity is growing

Can u get Zelda: link's awakening for the gameboy emulater, that was my favorite game ever on the GB, would be nice to have that again.

One thing that worries me on the 3650, is the lens protected, as on the 7650, its covered by the slide when not in use.

Schvetty
29-01-2003, 14:16
yeah thats what i though to m8

i though a leather case maybe help with that

it does look a bit dodgy though without the lens protected
