I am looking to build a Double Din dashboard mounted car pc!

Any suggestions on where to start?

I see several Car Pc's listed on the website but no reviews, so which is best and why?

Also why oh why oh why would you want to run Windows on one!!! I'm guessing a lightweight Linux distro must be out there for this exact purpose?

Depends on your needs really - certainly the integrated units (PC and screen together) are the easiest to install and fine for navigation, media playback.

If you need more performance for higher demand tasks you would want to look at a separate chassis and screen combination.

For software, I've not checked anything on Linux but really can't see why not to use Centrafuse - it's an excellent all round package and is being continually improved.
