I'm building my first custom computer, around the i7 CPU, Asus P6T Deluxe motherboard, one Radeon 4870 graphics card, 3 Velociraptors and 3 7200 rpm storage drives. I'll be using the computer for Photoshop CS4, not gaming.

I want to use the Zalman GT1000 case and the Zalman Reserator XT. But, so far, Zalman haven't released a mounting bracket for the cpu waterblock.

I emailed them last week asking about it. They said they would be releasing one in March. I can hang on till then, if they really mean it, but I'd hate to order an expensive case & Reserator and then find I can't use them! Do you think I can rely on what they say?

Alternatively, is there another way of mounting the Zalman cpu waterblock - a third-party mounting bracket?

And about watercooling the graphics card - Zalman have optional blocks, but their website doesn't say that I can use them with the Radeon 4870. Could I use a 3rd-party waterblock?

I don't want to air-cool, because I'm aiming at a very quiet machine.

Thanks

Mary
