I got my hands on an acer aspire SA80-G97Z

2.8ghz celeron D
512DDR 400
80GB seagate HDD.
And as of tomorrow il have my mits on a new graphics card

the one little thing that`s bothering me is i want to upgrade the memory but im not 100% sure exactly what my options are and whats best for the current system. This is the mobo i have
661GX-M7 (V3.0)
Socket 775 for Intel Pentium 4 processor

512DDR 400

assuming thats correct you need ddr400 or as its also known pc3200 ddr ram.

im sure acer do the aspire in notebooks aswell...after searching for ram i come across this

my mobo can support 2 x 184-pin DDR DIMM socket support up to 2 GB

i found this

Corsair 2GB (2x1GB) DDR 400MHz/PC3200 Memory Non-ECC Unbuffered CL3

am i right in thinking this is the correct RAM for the mobo

thanks for the replys :)
