View Full Version : True Blood
Anyone else whatching this?
Its a series set in a louisiana and its about vampires being real and coming out so to speak. A japanese company have made a synthetic blood so there is no need for them to feed on humans so they want to be accepted as part of society.
So far it seems really good the lead girl was Rogue in the X-men films and is pretty hot now :D
So long as she's dropped that annoying Southern drawl, she might actually be fit! :p
I'll think I'll check-out the pilot though, thanks. :)
Well its set in louisiana so she still has the southern drawl I dont mind it though. there are accents i hate far more.
It seems its based on a set of books by Charlaine Harris. The first one won an aware so i might give the books a go.
Well, this should've come with an 'R' rating. See you next tuesday, hardcore porn, and vampires! It's pretty chilling as well..
.. Still undecided if I like the back-story, but I'll watch a few more. It's alright though. :)
(And she's definitely not fit.. Even scrawnier than before! :p)
I think it's a fairly good show, am actually enjoying it more than the abysmal third series of Heroes at the moment.

With the needle like an ice pick. Aye that made me cringe a bit even more so when he was showing lafayette what the doctors did with the aid of a Sausage and a meat thermometer

After watching five episodes, I can say "True Blood" stands out as one of the strongest new series in an uncertain fall. Alan Ball, creator of "Six Feet Under," has adapted Charlaine Harris' novels with wit, verve and passion.
