Not happy, just before hitting the sack last night, tried to turn on my PC and the fans span up to the high speed they start at as normal. However, they didn't then spin down to idle, the machine didn't post (no display whatsoever), the keyboard didn't flash (caps lock etc. not functioning), and there was no beep.
Didn't want to stay up all night trying to fix it as that's a job for tonight after work, but it's been a while since I had a dead PC, and I wondered where I should be starting?
My plan is to first try clearing CMOS, then unplugging everything that I can and seeing if it will boot. Any other suggestions?
Spec is:
P5B Deluxe, E6700 @3GHz, 2GB PC5400, ATi 4870, Samsung F1 1TB, Creative X-Fi.
