Logitech Mouse and keyboard

I have a logitech G11 keyboard and a logitech mx518 Mouse and i have installed setpoint and other software and i can no longer set the customizable buttons on my mouse or use the media keys on my keyboard. all tis worked fine before i installed xp service pack 3. could this be the problem.

i may buy vista ultimate soon and wipe my HDD's and start a fresh install when i get it from kustom.

Any help would be appreciated

Uninstall setpoint, then download the latest version and install that. Worth a try.

already tried m8, i download the file but it wont load from my desktop or documents.

Could this be because of xp sp3

If you're unable to run the installer, it sounds like you might have bigger issues causing these problems...

Why wouldn't it load? Nothing happen when you double click it? Error?

Very much doubt it's SP3... I've installed SP3 on every computer that's come through our shop for repair and we've had no problems with it.

I downlod the latest setpoint and desktop manager from the site but when i try to load them, i can only load logitech desktop manager and not the latest set point.

also my keyboad is being anoying aswell cus when i try and use the media keys for WMP it crashes my pc.

Looks like this is an issue with SP3 after all... Either uninstall SP3, wait for the next version of SetPoint + Desktop Manager, or upgrade to vista.

Try installing UberOptions (http://www.mstar.net/users/rlowens/) (which every self-respecting Logitech mouse user should do anyway!), to see if you can then open/use SetPoint?

Im gonna have to try sometin else cus this hasent worked either. setpoint isnt showing my mouse in the config utility.

any other ideas anybody
